INSTAGRAM

Instagram is a very popular app for teenagers and different people around the world. We can share photos with this app and follow your friends, but it has some advantages and disadvantages.

On the one hand, you can share: photos that you like. In addition you can choose your friends if you choose the private option. Nevertheless this people can't follow you. Furthermore, you can hack your likes and the number of people that follow you.

On the other hand, you can loose your photos and identity. In this app you follow people but also you don't know if they are real or fake.

In my opinion, Instagram is a good app. It has different advantages and disadvantages. Although you don't know if people that you follow are real or fake and I don't like this idea but you can communicate with people around the world.

JOHNNY DEPP

John Christopher Depp II is an American actor, he was born on 9th of June in 1963 in Owesboro, Kentucky. Now he lives with his family in Los Angeles, California. He is well-known because he is a very famous actor and he played the role as Jack Sparrow, the famous character about Pirates of the Caribbean.

Johnny Depp started his career in a TV show in 1980 and then he become very famous with the film "Edward Scissorhands". The most famous films about him are: "Pirates of the Caribbean","Charlie and the chocolate factory" and "Alice in Wonderland".He's best friend is Tim Burton and he collaborated on nine films with Johnny. 

He is mod, very funny and a good person. He has visted many times different hospitals in Los Angeles and he might got dressed with Jack Sparrow's clothes. His characters are always funny and he has a lot of fans. He won: The Golden Globe award and screen Actors Guild Award for best actor and later he won a Guiness World Records because he was the highest paid actor. He couldn't win an Oscar with his films but, he can win one in the future.

I think Johnny Depp is the best actor and he is my favourite actor. I love his films and his different characters because they are very funny. My favourite character is Jack Sparrow, I like him because I think that he is a different character than others.

I write this letter because the laptop doesn’t work. When it was opened , the screen was broken and it doesn’t work. It wasn’t charge and I want to have a refund.

1st term: A NEWS REPORT

A WOMAN DIES AFTER BEING ATTACKED
BY HER DOG

Laura was a 40 years old woman who lives in Puntallana, La Palma, Spain. She had a dog and yesterday he attacked her. At first, she was staying in her house when the dog attacked her.

Next, at 14.30 pm, the national police received a call about a woman who needed help, medical assistant and she was injured. She called at 112. Later when the police arrived at the woman’s house, they saw a terrifying scene, the woman was dead. The police informed that the dog was of a dangerous race.

Her family are exhausted and shocked. At the end, the investigators are studying the case and they will inform if there is something new.

TALENT CONTEST

Hello, we’re The Balaguer Band, we play different styles of music but we really like to play rock music best.

We’re Jon ( on guitar), Mike (on guitar) and Ares (on vocals). At the moment, we’re preparing for the summer Talent Contest pretty hard.

The big competition is getting close

Well, we’re almost ready for the talent contest. We have sung in some small school shows and they liked us. We have decided to sing a famous song. In the band we divide the tasks. Mike chooses the song, Jon writes it and Ares sing it. The talent contest is this weekend and we are quite nervous but really excited.

The results!

The talent contest finished two hours ago and we really enjoyed the experience. We’re just heard the amazing news, we came first! It was really fantastic to win and we met new friends. We enjoyed all the performances and it was great fun.

Dear grandma and grandpa,

I'm writing to thank you for your birthday present, I'm very happy because I'm going to buy new basketball shoes and I think I'll get two new books. Thank you for your 100€.

How are you both? We're all fine! Next month my dad and I are going to see Bernabeu, we like Madrid. In summer my mum and I are going to visit Huelva, we love Huelva and we are visiting Colon's museum and Rio Tinto. When I get home in August I'm calling you.

Grandpa, did I tell you that I've finished your book. It's amazing and the characters are fantastic. In general, my school marks are good. I'm calling you this weekend.

1st term: UNIT 2

A WEEKEND TRIP

FRIDAY
I went to Tarragona with my parents.We went because my mum bought three tickets for the Manuel Carrasco concert. He is my favourite singer. I went by car. The journey was very boring so I listened to music.

SATURDAY
We ate in an Italian restaurant. In the afternoon we went to the concert and my mum bought two t-shirts. My mum and I sang and danced to songs. My favourite song was "Uno x Uno".

SUNDAY
On Sunday we went to the beach and we did sightseeing around the city. It's very beautiful. The best part was the beach. I liked the historical part.

The weekend was amazing because I saw Manuel Carrasco and we visited this fantastic city.

1st term: UNIT 1

A PRODUCT REVIEW

Yesterday I bought the new Acer laptop. It is black and it is really nice. There are some pros and cons.

The laptop is very small and it is easy to transport, it is fantastic to write and search in internet. I like the format and quality. When I was listening to music the audio is good. My favorite thing is the camera.

 I don't have WI-FI and sometimes it is a little slow in the search in internet and often it opens pages to apps.

In conclusion, it is a great gadget and I would recommend it!

My name is Ares I'm from Balaguer in Spain. There's lots of great Spanish food that you can try.
For Breakfast, you should have milk and cereals, orange juice and one toast and tomato.
For lunch, you should try some delicious paella Valenciana in Valencia.
For dinner, you should eat one toast and tomato.
For a  treat, you can have Catalan Cream. It's delicious.

3rd term: MY JOURNEY TO MADRID

Last Saturday, I went to Madrid by car with my mum and my cousin, Sandra. When we arrived, we stayed in my aunt's house.
At first, my cousins and I watched a film. Suddenly we were at the shopping centre and went to the cinema and the film was fantastic.
Last day, we went to the bowling, then I bought a new book in a shop. Suddely my cousin and I went sightseeing Madrid and finally we went to Balaguer.

2nd term: Biography: JOHN LOGIE BAIRD

John Logie Baird was a famous engineer and inventor.
Bell was born in Helensburgh, Scotland in 1888. When he was a child, he loved building machines, he studied at Glasgow University.
In 1923, he moved to England and in 1926 he invented the black and white television. In 1927, he established the Baird Television Company and the next year he inventedthe first colour television.

2nd term: A film review: PAPER TOWNS

I watched Paper Towns in the cinema last summer. It's a romantic and aventure film and it takes place in Orlando, Florida.
I enjoyed the film because it is very funny. The scenes are very realistic. I thought the music was OK but it was alsovery exciting.
The actors were very good in Pper Towns. My favorite actor was Cara Delevigne. She played Margo. In the film my favorite character is Ben, he is very funny,she is a very excellent actor.
The best part of film was the revenge of Margo to his friends nd boyfriend, this part is very funny ans spectacular!

The panda is a mammal, it lives in a forest in China, Asia. He is black and white and fat, it is very big and a little dangerous, because his nails are very tall.

It eats "bambú"."Bambú" is a vegetal from china.

The panda is special because it's a beautiful animal and a different.

Right now, he's helping to build a bridge in Miami, Florida. In this photo, he's cheking his diving equipament.

In the evening, I like playing basketball. I always play football. I often watch films on the computer.
